Description

ADJUSTABLE WIDTH ROLLER BLIND
1) Telescoping Tubes: There is a male and female tube that extends and retracts to multiple widths. There can be more than 2 tubes.
2) Telescoping Cassette or Valance: There is a male and female cassette/valance that extends and retracts to multiple widths. The cassette/valance is designed to act as support for your hands in order to hold up the blind when installing.
3) Overlapping Fabric: There are 2 or more overlapping fabric panels
4) Bottom Bar: The bottom bar serves two main purposes. One to act as a weight to keep the fabric straight. Two, to act as a means to hide the discrepancy of the fabric when rolling up and down. When the two fabrics overlap and roll up and down, the two fabrics do not roll up evenly. As such, the bottom bar is designed so excess slack in fabric can roll into and out of the bottom bar to visually hide this slack in fabric from the user.
5) Clutch: There is a clutch that is operated via a chord to open/close the blind
6) Brackets: The window blind can be installed outside or inside the window frame using brackets to hold the blind in place.

Description = The purpose of the invention is to provide a DIY product that solves the biggest problem of mis-measuring window blinds = The blind can be installed outside the window frame (outside mount) or inside the window frame (inside mount), using brackets.
= The blind is able to extend telescopically to fit multiple window sizes = When rolling up, the fabric rolls up evenly, with the bottom bar hiding any slack in fabric due to the overlap.
