Abstract

La capture de dioxyde de carbone (CO2) d'un gaz contenant du CO2 produit lors de la production de vapeur dans le cadre d'une activité de récupération d'hydrocarbures sur place thermique, comme le drainage par gravité au moyen de vapeur (DGMV) ou la stimulation cyclique par la vapeur d'eau (SCV), peut comprendre les étapes suivantes : fournir le gaz contenant du CO2 à un absorbeur pour lui permettre d'entrer en contact avec la solution d'absorption en vue de produire un gaz appauvri en CO2 et une solution chargée de CO2; fournir la solution chargée de CO2 à un désorbeur pour favoriser la libération du CO2 dans la solution chargée de CO2 en vue de produire un flux de CO2 et une solution régénérée; chauffer l'absorbeur et/ou le désorbeur avec de la chaleur au moins partiellement récupérée auprès de l'activité de récupération d'hydrocarbures sur place thermique. On peut améliorer l'opération de capture de CO2 grâce à de l'anhydrase carbonique ou à un analogue de celle-ci.
