Abstract
A Hockey Goalie saves shots of a puck to the net. The puck is usually shot by a person operating a hockey stick and taking that shot. With the invention of the Puckmaster there will be a portable device that can store indoor or outdoor pucks in a tall cylindrical chamber. The pucks will be stored on top of each other in the chamber and only one will be released at a time. The pucks will drop one at a time into the main body of the Puckmaster and the pucks are then propelled out by electronic or battery power one at a time towards the goalie net. The location of the exit chambers allow a variation in shot from upper net to lower net and left, center, right side. As one puck leaves the chamber and is propelled forward the next puck drops down ready for the next shot. The timings are set so that the goalie can't predict when or where the next shot will come out.
Description
Specification 1. This invention relates to a portable device that shoots pucks for a hockey goalie to practice alone indoors or outdoors. The device also allows for a commercial use at Hockey School, Education Establishments or Recreation Centers/Arenas.
2. Hockey Goalies are one of the few positions in Hockey that continues to have limited talent opportunities. This can be attributed to the limited training and practice opportunities. In order for a Hockey Goalie to practice they need to have pucks shot at them in the net. Children all over Canada (and the world) can practice street hockey in many ways and can practice alone if they hold any position other than goalie.
A goalie can't practice alone. There are not enough goalie training camps for potential goalies to practice and not everyone has the financial resources to pay for their children to have professional tuition. Regular hockey players in the NHL talk about the endless hours of practice on a back yard rink or pond to fine tune their skills and give them the skills and opportunity to play NHL but goalies do not have the same opportunity.
Currently there are no portable devices that allow hockey goalies to practice alone. With the Puckmaster invention they can now spend endless hours in a back yard alone practicing.
This invention will revolutionize hockey goalie practice and make it fun and affordable for more people to play.

3. Through research and a search of the Patent database I have found that you can't practice as a hockey goalie alone by any portable device currently available and no invention or patent exists.
Claims
1. A portable electronic device for shooting pucks at a net. The device stores the pucks in a cylinder tube for distribution one puck at a time. It can be electric or battery operated. The puck can be shot at different parts of the net, thus providing a challenge for the goalie to save.
