Abstract
On peut injecter un solvant dans un réservoir dhydrocarbures à un niveau de verticalité de plus en plus élevé afin de permettre à la vapeur du solvant dentrer en contact avec les hydrocarbures visqueux que contient le réservoir et de les fluidifier, et ce, pour produire des hydrocarbures fluidifiés. On peut injecter le solvant dans une zone fluidifiée située sous une zone dhydrocarbures visqueux afin de permettre à la vapeur de solvant de monter pour fluidifier les hydrocarbures visqueux dans cette dernière zone. On peut injecter le solvant dans le réservoir au moyen dun puits dinjection vertical ou incliné, et on peut retirer des fluides du réservoir au moyen dun puits de production bien séparé du puits dinjection sur le plan horizontal. Un procédé ascendant facilité par un solvant peut comprendre linjection deau et de solvant liquide dans la zone fluidifiée, puis injecter de leau chauffée et du solvant dans cette même zone.
