Abstract

Il est décrit des méthodes de diagnostic de la maladie coronarienne chez un sujet en ayant besoin. Lesdites méthodes impliquent l'administration d'un mélange comprenant du CO2 à un sujet, ce qui permet d'atteindre une PaCO2 prédéterminée chez le sujet en vue de l'induction d'une hyperémie, cela étant suivi de la surveillance de la réactivité vasculaire chez le sujet et du diagnostic de la présence ou de l'absence de maladie coronarienne chez le sujet. Une moindre réactivité vasculaire chez le sujet par rapport à un sujet témoin marque la présence d'une maladie coronarienne. Il est également décrit des méthodes permettant de renforcer la sensibilité et la spécificité de l'imagerie par résonance magnétique dépendante du niveau d'oxygène dans le sang.
