Abstract
Un dispositif de segmentation de lumière servant à dissiper la puissance résiduelle dune pompe optique transportée par une lumière de pompe se propageant dans une composante de fibre optique est présenté. La composante de fibre optique comprend une gaine de pompe entourée dune gaine extérieure, la gaine extérieure étant retirée de la composante de fibre optique sur une longueur de segment. Le dispositif de segmentation de lumière comprend un dispositif de segmentation de pompe disposé sur le segment en longueur et une structure de conditionnement dissipant la chaleur en contact thermique avec le dispositif de segmentation de pompe. Le dispositif de segmentation de pompe comprend une région de guidage dentrée et une région de segmentation ayant des indices de réfraction inférieur et supérieur à lindice de réfraction de la périphérie la plus extérieure de la gaine de pompe, respectivement, de sorte que la lumière de la pompe est au moins partiellement guidée à lintérieur de la gaine de pompe le long de la région de guidage dentrée et segmentée de la gaine de pompe le long de la région de segmentation. La structure de conditionnement dissipant la chaleur absorbe et dissipe la puissance résiduelle segmentée par la région de segmentation.
