Abstract
The claimed invention is directed to enhancing the strength properties of the upper chamber of a cap and improving the reliability of the entire article under different working conditions by providing the walls of the upper chamber (3) thereof with reinforcing ribs (4).
Description
Ribbed and hooked cap with chamber This item belongs to packed items, namely to caps for packing food fresheners in pat bottles.
From the previous technical level common caps (fig. 1), using which pat bottles are packed, are known. Thus common caps, yet with enlarged upper chamber (3) fig.
1.1, which are used for placing additional items for expanding the functionality of such caps, are known.
Thus cap with enlarged upper chamber (3), on which in its turn additional item ¨ hook (1) fig. 2 is known. This hook is fixed on upper part (2) of upper chamber (3) as per order 2007136807 RU and which is used for hanging container with belt or rucksack for easy transportation. As well there are analogues of this item, which differs by other variant of fixing a hook 2009100962RU; 2009100652RU Fig.6.
As well, a cap with enlarged upper chamber (3) and fixed hook on the upper Fig.
with drain valve (5) on the upper chamber, is known, US patent 3157322A. This cap is not the most suitable analogue because its hook doesn't create a clearance (6) between itself and side wall (8) of the upper chamber (3), Fig. 2.1, and doesn't lie along cap's lower foundation (5) and doesn't create a clearance (6) there.
The other close analogue to the stated technical decision is cap with enlarged upper chamber (3) Fig. 3, which has vertical stiffening ribs (4) on chamber's (3) walls (8) from the outside, order 2008145117 RU. As well, there is another analogue, but with horizontal stiffening ribs (4) on enlarged chamber's walls (3) Fig. 3.1 as stated in order 2009100653 RU.
The closest cap to the stated technical decision is one with enlarged upper chamber (3) and hook (1) Fig. 2 as per order 2007136807 RU. Described item is taken for the invention's prototype.
Disadvantage of this item is weak construction of upper chamber (3) with not enough strong walls, what is caused by the necessity of having common thickness of walls during casting ¨ for preventing item's deformation while die casting on thermoplastic machine. As a result, upper chamber's (3) walls have the same thickness as the rest of item, but in different service conditions they are exposed to greater load actions compared to cap's lower foundation (5), for example, and as a result they are exposed to greater deformation compared to the rest item parts.
At the same time, from the stated technical level of this item, for easy removing it can be equipped with additional ribs, placed round the item.
Additional factor, which improves the upper chamber's (3) deformation is the hook (1), which is placed on its upper part (2), and in certain service modes upper chamber strength could be insufficient. So, hook (1) is fixed on the chamber's (3) upper part (2) in such a way that it lies towards chamber's lower foundation (5) and create a clearance (6) between itself and upper chamber's side (8) wall, Fig. 4, as well as between itself and chamber's (5) lower foundation. As a result, hook can move aside from chamber's lower foundation (5) and upper chamber's side (8) wall and transfer load on the upper part (2) Fig. 4.
At the same time, on upper chamber's wide walls (8) there can be expanding load, which will weigh on the upper camber's walls. This load can be caused by gas-containing beverage, for example (Fig. 4.1).
So in certain service modes two loads can be put on the upper chamber's (3) walls at the same time. One load is caused by great internal pressure of carbonated beverage (Fig. 4.1) and the other one can be transferred through hook's deviation (Fig.
4), which occurs, for example, while hanging bottle. Simultaneous aggregation of two exposures on chamber's (3) upper walls can create a serious deformation of upper chamber's (3) side walls (Fig. 4) and in some cases can lead to complete item's uselessness.
Task, for which solving stated technical decision is aimed, is in increasing strength characteristics of item's upper chamber and in increasing durability of the whole item in different service conditions.
This task is achieved by using item's cap (Fig. 7) with lower foundation (5) with threaded portion and upper chamber (3) on this lower foundation (5). And there is stiffening rib (4) on upper chamber's side wall (8) (Fig. 7.1). And if the stiffening rib is placed vertically on upper chamber's wall, it is rested against chamber's lower foundation (5) with the height (12) of its rib (Fig. 10). The height of stiffening rib is equal to its rib's height or to the height of the upper chamber's wall (10) (Fig. 12; 13) or bigger height (12) (Fig. 12; 13), which can be twice or several times bigger than the thickness of upper chamber (10) (Fig. 12; 13). On the upper chamber's upper part (Fig. 7.1) there is fastener assembly (9) which connects upper chamber with hook (1), which lies from fastener assembly (9) towards cap's lower foundation (5) and creates clearance (6) between itself and upper chamber's (3) side wall (8) and between itself and cap's lower foundation (5).

2 Stiffening rib (4) differs from clause 1 by that it can be placed either vertically (Fig.
7.3) or horizontally (Fig. 7.2) on the upper chamber's (3) wall.
Stiffening rib (4) differs from clause 1 by that its part can lie along chamber's lower foundation (5). Fig. 8.
Cap differs from clause 1 by that it can have different diameters (Fig. 14).
Cap (Fig. 9) differs from clause 1 by that its upper chamber (9) can be bigger in its diameter and have wider lower foundation (5).
Technical result, provided by stated combination of peculiarities, is improvement of strength characteristics of cap's upper chamber (3) containing a hook (1) on its upper part (2) (Fig. 7) due to strengthening upper chamber with stiffening rib (4), which greatly differs from the rib, which, for example, is used for easy removing (11) (Fig.
1; 2; 10).
Difference is in the fact that "rib for easy removing" (11) hasn't got substantial thickness-height and as a result such "rib for easy removing" (11) cannot substantially strengthen cap upper chamber's walls, for example, from internal pressure of carbonated beverage, which can burst upper chamber's (3) side walls (8) (Fig. 4.1) as opposed, for example, to "vertical stiffening rib" (4), which strengthens upper chamber's walls and at the same time rests against lower foundation (5) with its rib height (Fig. 10), what gives additional support to the rib and allows to better prevent deformation of upper chamber's walls. At the same time stiffening rib (4) has substantial height, which, for example, is equal to the thickness of upper chamber's (3) wall (10) or even higher (12), which can twice or more times exceed upper chamber's (3) wall (10) (Fig. 8; 10; 12). Such "stiffening rib" (4) has improved durability because its thickness either equal or greater than the thickness of upper chamber's wall (10). That's why they are able to significantly strengthen upper chamber's (3) walls and effectively prevent deformation of upper chamber (3).
Technical effect becomes visible during simultaneous influence of internal pressure, which is created by carbonated beverage and tries to expand the upper chamber's side walls (10) from inside, on the upper chamber (5) and influence which transfers through the hook, for example, while hanging the bottle with beverage and possible forced deviation of this hook (1), which begins transferring the load on upper chamber's (3) side wall (8) through fastener assembly (9). Due to stiffening rib (4) at such simultaneous

Due to stiffening rib (4) at such simultaneous
3 influence upper chamber's (3) walls remain invariable and don't deviate because stiffening rib (4), which is placed round the upper chamber's wall, prevents them from deformation, ensuring the required strength t the upper chamber's walls (3).
At the same time the rib itself corresponds to the required common thickness of the whole item and effectively strengthens the upper chamber's walls. In some cases, stiffening rib (4) can be prolonged and lie on the cap lower foundation (5) wall (Fig. 8), what leads to even greater construction strengthening.
At the same time, stiffening ribs (4) equally provide strength of the whole construction while using different types of hook's fastener assemblies (9) (Fig. 7; 7.1) in case of both single fastener assembly (9) (Fig. 7.2; 7.3) and double fastener assembly (9) (Fig. 7.1).
In case of necessity stiffening ribs (4) allow to make stated cap with significantly bigger diameter of upper chamber (3) and lower foundation (5) (Fig. 14).
