Abstract

Il est décrit une méthode pour mesurer automatiquement les courants induits dans des structures conductrices placées dans louverture dun appareil dimagerie par résonance magnétique (IRM) au moyen dune seule image par résonance magnétique. Une structure conductrice est placée dans louverture de lappareil dIRM pendant le procédé dimagerie. Lorsque lappareil dIRM transmet un champ de résonance magnétique, un courant est induit dans la structure conductrice. Le courant crée un champ magnétique de fréquence cyclotron, qui se couple au champ magnétique de résonance magnétique à proximité de la structure conductrice. Le champ magnétique modifié entraîne la création dun artefact dans les images de phase. Lartefact dans limage de phase est ensuite analysé pour déterminer le courant induit dans la structure conductrice.
