Abstract

Une méthode de détection et de diagnostic de fuite de carburant gazeux dans un système de moteur à combustion interne bimode comprend la production d'un signal de défaut indiquant qu'il y a une fuite de carburant gazeux dans le carburant liquide quand une quantité de carburant gazeux est détectée dans la conduite de retour du carburant liquide dans laquelle le carburant liquide est transmis de l'injecteur de carburant vers l'approvisionnement en carburant. La méthode peut également comprendre le diagnostic d'une panne de l'injecteur de carburant ou d'au moins une des composantes du système qui régule les pressions d'entrée du carburant gazeux et du carburant liquide en évaluant la quantité de carburant gazeux qui a été détectée dans la conduite de retour du carburant liquide et en calculant la différence de pression entre la pression de rail du carburant liquide et la pression de rail du carburant gazeux.
