Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de surveillance de l'épaisseur de la paroi d'un constituant de conduite industrielle ou de machines de pompage/machines à fluide comprenant un corps de pompe pour une pompe utilisée pour pomper un fluide abrasif ou une suspension abrasive. Le procédé consiste à envoyer un signal contenant des informations relatives à une impulsion de transducteur ultrasonore fixé directement sur un composant de la conduite industrielle ou la machine de pompage/machine à fluide à un endroit local présentant un intérêt et configuré pour injecter l'impulsion de transducteur ultrasonore dans le composant de conduite industrielle ou de machine de pompage/machine à fluide à l'endroit local présentant un intérêt et détecter ladite impulsion de transducteur ultrasonore renvoyée par une paroi du constituant de conduite industrielle ou de la machine de pompage/machine à fluide à l'endroit local présentant un intérêt et déterminer avec un système de surveillance électronique, l'épaisseur de la paroi du constituant de conduite industrielle ou de la machine de pompage/machine à fluide à l'endroit local présentant un intérêt sur la base au moins partielle du signal reçu contenant les informations relatives à l'impulsion du transducteur ultrasonore discret qui a été détectée.
