Abstract
Antenne conçue pour un dispositif de communication sans fil qui comprend un substrat dun matériau diélectrique doté dune première et dune deuxième surface opposées. Un plan de sol fait dune couche de matériau conducteur délectricité se trouve sur la première surface. Une antenne dotée dune longueur physique est disposée sur le substrat. Au moins une structure métallique diélectrique est disposée sur le substrat. Les structures métalliques diélectriques résonnent de façon à interagir avec lantenne et ainsi altérer la longueur électrique efficace de lantenne. Cette interaction fait en sorte que lantenne fonctionne comme si elle avait une longueur physique supérieure. Selon un mode de réalisation, cette interaction permet une antenne plus courte que le quart de la longueur donde dun signal de radiofréquence appliqué, qui fonctionne comme si la longueur physique de lantenne correspondait au quart de cette longueur donde.
