Abstract
Un système pour déterminer la position des pattes arrière du bétail laitier afin d'améliorer la capacité de production de lait des installations automatisées. Le système comprend un appareil photo tridimensionnel et un appareil de traitement relié à l'appareil photo pour déterminer un premier emplacement d'une patte avant d'un premier bétail laitier au moins partiellement en fonction de données visuelles captées par l'appareil photo tridimensionnel; déterminer un deuxième emplacement d'une patte avant d'un bétail laitier au moins partiellement en fonction de données visuelles captées par l'appareil photo tridimensionnel; déterminer une mesure, où la mesure est la distance entre le premier emplacement et le second emplacement de patte avant, où le premier emplacement est un emplacement interne de la première patte avant et le second emplacement est l'emplacement interne de la seconde patte avant; et déterminer si la mesure dépasse un seuil minimal. Différentes variantes pourraient réduire le recours à l'intervention humaine pour effectuer certaines fonctions normalement associées à la traite du bétail laitier dans les systèmes de plateforme rotative.
