Description

*Specific = Description -= Claims = Drawings Description The invention relates to a programmable wireless control test system a sprayer appropriate fumigant according to the type of smoke detector and / or carbon monoxide. More precisely, the invention relates to a central coordinating device signal generator without control wire or information, a wireless device sprayer and an informative device the use of which is not compulsory, but which informs about the cause and the place of each of the alarms triggered.
We know that the presence of a smoke detector or carbon monoxide functional helps to save human lives when the incident occurs. We also know that is strongly recommended to periodically test (weekly or monthly) these detectors. The detectors modern products contain visual indicators or push buttons for make sure of the good operation of the detectors. Only this 'good functioning' does not mean not necessarily that the detector will respond as expected at the actual time of the incident. Indeed, the 'good operation 'indicated by the indicator lights on the detector or by the response of the press on the test button, does very often hints that the electrical or electronic functioning of the device, unable to fully put the sensor in the real situation. So the test indisputable remains the simulation the actual situation by spraying around the agent's detector detectable chemical. Despite the paramount importance of periodic detector tests, force is found that several users are discouraged by the manual and binding nature of the task and also because these detectors are still not easily accessible.
The invention relates to a programmable wireless system for performing these tests of automated way so the users forget about the periodic tests, solve the problem of the accessibility of the detectors and last but not least to test the more realistic possible by spraying around the detector of the supposedly detectable chemical agent.
The coordinating unit programmable is the platform where the user defines the periodicity of tests. The spray device contains a refillable or replaceable cartridge and transforms an order wireless by a mechanical action of spraying the appropriate chemical agent. These measures sprayer detects the alarm by a sound sensor and reports the result to the unit programmable coordinator. The same Reporting mechanism is used in the real case of an incident. Of this way, unity programmable coordinator can inform visual devices that inform and advise users on immediate actions to take.
According to a preferred embodiment, the programmable coordinating unit must make start a network Low-Rate Personal Area Network (LR-PAN) type wireless. For each of detector to be tested, a associated wireless device sprayer must be placed close to the detector. These detectors are tested one after the other to give a series of sequential response as the tests are run.
According to another preferred embodiment, the use of the visual device informative of the cause and location of each of the alarms is essential to help the user to optimize his reaction time and take the correct attitude during a real panic situation.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the coordinating unit programmable can serve while waiting to do the tests on the detectors, calendar and reminder tool or house chores.
The programmable coordinating unit must visibly report the time-state real devices wireless sprayers and the response of the detectors under test.
