Le dispositif de signalisation programmable (206) prévoit que la PSP (200) retourne un signal commandé mais variable en réponse à une interrogation spectroscopique. Le changement du signal spectroscopique peut être déclenché de façon externe ou le signal peut varier naturellement au fil du temps.
