Abstract
The Weight and Voltage Regulator is a Whole Body Vibration Machine with a voltage adjuster to compensate for the user weight and maintain the platform frequency at a defined value.
Description
DESCRIPTION
A Whole Body Vibration Machine consists of a vibrating base, with handle supports, which ressembles a treadmill, but not as large. Vibration Machines are now widely available for sale. An example of a Vibration Machine is in Figure 1.
The vibrating platform moves at a frequency or speed defined by the user or a program.
The frequency will vary slightly depending on the weight of the user.
The purpose of this invention is to invent a vibration machine that adjusts the voltage depending on the weight of the user to maintain the frequency at the defined value.
There is a magnet attached to the motor, and a concaved speed sensor is attached to the machine as in Figure 2.
For each rotation of the motor, the magnet will insert the concaved speed sensor. The speed sensor will count how many times the motor rotates in certain time.
When the voltage is lower, the motor rotates more slowly; when the voltage is higher, the motor rotates more quickly; when the loading weight is heavier, the motor rotates more slowly; when the loading weight is lighter, the motor rotates more quickly.
The speed sensor sends the speed change to the chip in the electrical card, and the chip in the electrical card will adjust the program to keep the speed for the same.
