Abstract

Une boîte électrique est présentée qui comprend une partie boîte ayant une dimension en hauteur de 4 pouces et une plaque de couvercle. La portion boîte présente une paroi arrière, une première paroi latérale, une deuxième paroi latérale opposée à la première paroi latérale, une paroi de dessus, une paroi de fond opposée à la paroi de dessus et une face avant ouverte. La plaque de couvercle convient pour couvrir la face avant ouverte de la portion boîte et comprend une portion de base, une ouverture dans la portion de base pour recevoir un dispositif électrique et une première et une deuxième pattes espacées de la portion de base. La première et la deuxième pattes ont une première et une deuxième ouvertures respectives pour recevoir des attaches permettant de fixer le dispositif électrique à la plaque de couvercle. La première et la deuxième ouvertures sont espacées l'une de l'autre d'une distance d'environ 3,5 pouces. De plus, une distance entre une surface extérieure de la paroi de dessus et un centre d'une adjacente d'une de la première ou la deuxième ouvertures est inférieure à 0,29 pouce lorsque la plaque de couverture est fixée à la portion boîte.
