Abstract

Une prothèse est constituée d'une partie principale en forme de crêpe (100), d'un col (110) et d'une poignée aplatie et évasée (120) dont la taille et la forme sont conçues pour protéger la paroi postérieure du vagin (610) des frictions produites au cours du coït. Cette prothèse, qui demeure en place par elle-même, comprend un dispositif permettant de retenir la partie en forme de crêpe (100) dans le vagin et un dispositif empêchant la poignée évasée et aplatie (120) d'entrer dans le vagin lorsque la prothèse est insérée ou pendant le coït. Cette prothèse réduit le volume du vagin et l'ouverture du vagin. Ainsi, elle offre une solution non chirurgicale et peu coûteuse de resserrer le vagin d'une femme. La prothèse destinée à la paroi postérieure du vagin permet aux femmes munies d'un large vagin d'utiliser des tampons.
