Abstract

Un dispositif électronique à main avec écran tactile et une méthode d'utilisation d'un écran tactile d'un dispositif électronique à main sont présentés. Conformément à une réalisation, une méthode est présentée pour faire une entrée à l'aide d'un écran tactile d'un dispositif électronique à main et comprend l'affichage d'une interface utilisateur graphique (GUI) sur l'écran tactile, l'interface utilisateur graphique comprenant une pluralité d'éléments d'interface utilisateur graphique sélectionnables, chacun comportant une zone d'écran tactile associée et chacun produisant un signal d'entrée respectif en réaction à la sélection; la détection d'une entrée tactile sur l'écran tactile ayant un point tactile; la détermination d'une orientation du dispositif électronique à main; la détermination d'un décalage tactile selon l'orientation du dispositif électronique à main; la détermination d'un point tactile modifié sur la surface d'entrée tactile selon le point tactile et le décalage tactile, et la production d'un signal d'entrée associé à l'élément d'interface utilisateur respectif affiché au point tactile modifié lorsque le point tactile modifié est associé à un d'une pluralité d'éléments d'interface utilisateur sélectionnable sur l'interface utilisateur graphique.
