Abstract
A carry-on lightweight fabric pouch system to store and utilize plastic and or nylon based flaccid shopping bags that have a direct benefit to the environment by having the consumer conveniently re-use plastic and or nylon shopping bags while shopping for product. The pouch invention made of fabric materials allows for the storage, carrying and re-using of shopping bags by inserting them in a fabric pouch held by a nylon rope with an easily accessible opening on top for bag insertion and an opening at bottom for bag removal. The pouch may store as many as 15 shopping bags or more and is extremely light weight and allows the shopper for a hands-free shopping experience while contributing to the environment and reducing personal costs of purchasing plastic shopping bags
Description
Description of Carry-On Shopping Bag Pouch This invention relates to a method of reducing the amount of plastic shopping bags utilized by shoppers. Providing shoppers a convenient method of carrying numerous plastic and-or nylon based shopping bags on their person while in transit. To introduce a specially designed carry-on pouch for the purpose carrying, storing and reusing plastic and-or nylon shopping bags intended for shopping, benefiting both the shopper/consumer and the environment simultaneously.
Shoppers are becoming more aware of environmental detriments relating to plastics and as such are now given the option to purchase plastic shopping bags as a deterrent and a proactive measure to reduce plastic bag consumption. Some have taken steps to purchase expensive bags to avoid the constant purchase of plastic bags. Some may take an inadequate amount of bags with them and as such are positioned to purchase additional bags. It is also quite common that many shoppers either forget and or are inconvenienced by carrying bags thus contributing negatively to the environment by constantly purchasing plastic bags while shopping for products. Some may not feel comfortable carrying bags in hand thus being obliged to purchase plastic bags on an ongoing basis.
Allowing a method of carrying a bundle of flaccid plastic and-or nylon bags conveniently tucked in a carry-on lightweight fashionable hands free pouch, with easy access for bag insertion and bag extraction, allows the consumer to conveniently reuse the bags on numerous occasions and thus participating to environmental and personal financial benefits.
Allowing the storage of many plastic and-or nylon bags for reuse provides the consumer a provision to accommodate a light or heavy shopping experiences. A further benefit and incentive to the shopper is cost savings on the significant reduction to purchase plastic bags, therefore contributing to the success of reducing plastic bag consumption. The main conveniences to the shoppers is the use of a lightweight textile fabric based pouch that is small and fashionable, with easy insertion and removal of plastic and-or nylon based shopping bags, hands-free by means of carrying the pouch over the shoulder utilized in numerous shopping environments or scenarios.
The illustrated pouch provides a view into the invention and pouch model configuration;
Figure 1 and Figure 2 illustrates the Carry-On Shopping Bag Pouch model fabricated principally of common fabric material along with its principal components. The major feature components as illustrated by Figure 1 are the pouch flap assembly (1) at the top and the pouch body aperture (2) providing access for the insertion of plastic and-or nylon shopping bags. The body aperture and its flap assembly made of readily available sturdy fabric, vinyl and-or other textile fabric material is secured utilizing a Velcro fastening assembly (3) for securing the plastic or nylon shopping bags. The pouch body compartment (4) portion is the area in which reusable plastic or nylon shopping bags are stored for reuse.
The pouch elasticized bottom aperture (5) portion provides a fixed circular flexible elasticized aperture for plastic and-or nylon bag extraction. The bottom component is comprised of fabric material and elastic based material for ease of extraction. The pouch carry-on shoulder strap (6) component utilized for hands-free carry-on, allows for easy pouch carry-on functions while shoppers are mobile. The strap is made of fabric materials and it is installed through the top and bottom pouch fabric guides (7) or fabric loops attached parallel to the pouch body component. The strap is free to slide along the inside of the fabric i guides and allows and easy method of positioning the pouch in front, side and the back of the body while the shopper is mobile.
The pouch is designed to carry many shopping bags, packed and inserted from the aperture or opening at top and easily extracted through an accommodating fixed and flexible elasticized opening at bottom making it easy for the shopper to insert, extract and reuse shopping bags frequently. An encouraging stylish design will motivate shoppers to see the value of the service provided and will also see the environmental benefits associated with the carry-on shopping bag pouch while shopping. Its inherent lightweight at full capacity allows for a hands-free shopping experience for the consumer. A fully loaded pouch with reusable plastic and-or nylon shopping bags is effective in many areas and primarily utilized in many shopping excursions such as grocery stores, and a variety of other stores such as shoe stores, pet stores, convenience stores and most stores located in shopping malls.
Additionally the carrying capacity of having many bags on hand provides the convenience of purchasing products with comfort. Key benefits to consumer are convenience, cost savings, ease of use and a positive contribution to the environment.

Claims (11)
1. A mobile bag pouch system to store and use flaccid shopping bags having a top aperture and bottom flexible aperture and an elongated body storage cavity and a strap held by said body, said bag pouch system having an elongated body to extend between top and bottom aperture, said body having aperture ends with engaging means for access, said engaging means enabling accessibility of the top and bottom aperture of said body.
2. A bag pouch system according to claim 1, wherein said body is formed of fabric based material is to provide said storage cavity
3. A bag pouch system according to claim 2, where both ends of said body are provided with fabric eyelets to receive a fabric based cord strap inside said eyelets.
4. In Combination, the said strap and the said eyelets in claim 3 provide mobility of said bag pouch system so that the said bag pouch is manoeuvrable along said cord strap.
5. A bag pouch system to be carried in person having an elongated said cord strap along said eyelets in claim 3 is angularly positioned along said person by movement of said bag pouch along said eyelets.
6. The bag pouch system of said top aperture provides a top flap of fabric material for securing said bags in claim 1
7. The bag pouch system of said top flap in claim 6 attaches to said body in claim 1.
8. The bag pouch system of said bottom flexible aperture at bottom of said body in clam 1 supports extraction of said flaccid material.
9. A bag pouch system according to claim 1 further including aperture resilient means to insert and extract said flaccid material in claim 1.
10. The storage configuration being stackable of reusable shopping bags of flaccid material
11. A system according to Claim 1 including a flap fastener for selectively connecting the flap to the said body across the said top aperture.
