Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réseau et un procédé de distribution d'information de routage pour une application de réseau privé virtuel (VPN)via un réseau par commutation de paquets depuis un premier routeur frontière de fournisseur (PE) vers un second routeur frontière de fournisseur. Un chemin de commutation Ethernet (par exemple, un tunnel de transport de réseau fédérateur fournisseur) est établi entre les premier et second routeurs PE. Le premier routeur PE se trouve à une extrémité d'origine du chemin de commutation Ethernet et le second routeur PE se trouve à une extrémité de destination du chemin commuté Ethernet. Un message de protocole de passerelle frontière (BGP) est transmis depuis le premier routeur PE vers le second routeur PE. Le message BGP contient une information de routage pour une route VPN desservie par le réseau de commutation par paquets. Une association entre la route VPN et le chemin de commutation Ethernet est déterminée à partir de l'information de routage dans le message BGP.
