A serie of stair flower boxes that are being inserted in each other to control water spillage.

[0001] The present invention relates to a stair flower boxes and more particularly but not exclusively, to an assembly of multiple flower boxes to be install in stair.

[0002] Flower box or flower pot of different shape are not suitable for stair installation. Spillage of water is a treat for safety. Standard shape of flower box of flower pot doesn't allow multiple installations because of architectural limitation of stair.
[0003] Therefore, there is a need for a stair flower box.

[0012] Generally stated, illustrative embodiments described herein relate to a serie of stair flower boxes.

[0014] In accordance with an illustrative embodiment, there is provided a serie of stair flower boxes comprising;
A upper flower box so configured as the water is being drain toward the front;
and A intermediate flower box so configured as to be inserted into the upper flower box and where the water is being drain toward the front 3 and;
A lower flower box so configured as to be inserted into the intermediate flower box.

and A intermediate flower box so configured as to be inserted into the upper flower box and where the water is being drain toward the front 3 and;
A lower flower box so configured as to be inserted into the intermediate flower box.

[0017] The non-restrictive illustrative embodiment of the present invention is concerned with a serie of stair flower boxes comprising, as illustrated in figure 1, a upper flower box 1, a intermediate flower box 2 and a lower box 3. When in their inserted configuration the flower box form a channelling assembly to control drain water flow.
[0018] Figure 3 illustrates the upper flower box 1 comprising a slop 4 in the bottom of the box and directed toward the front of the flower box 1. Excess water is directed to the drain 5 which as a bottom 6 outlet or a side outlet 7.

Lower flower box 3 is installed into a saucer 31 which as a front drain 32 or a back drain 33 on a side drain 33 A. A low section 34 in the hedge of the saucer 31 could be use to direct water away from stair.

Claims (10)
1. A serie of stair flower boxes comprising;
- A upper flower box having a drain toward the front of the bottom of the box;
- A intermediate flower box having a drain toward the front of the bottom of the box and the intermediate flower box being so configured as to be inserted into the upper flower box by a Notch in the back side of the flower box;
- A lower flower box having a drain toward the back of the bottom of the box and the bottom flower box being so configured as to be inserted into the intermediate flower box by a Notch in the back side of the flower box.
- A upper flower box having a drain toward the front of the bottom of the box;
- A intermediate flower box having a drain toward the front of the bottom of the box and the intermediate flower box being so configured as to be inserted into the upper flower box by a Notch in the back side of the flower box;
- A lower flower box having a drain toward the back of the bottom of the box and the bottom flower box being so configured as to be inserted into the intermediate flower box by a Notch in the back side of the flower box.
2. A serie of stair flower boxes as recited in claim 1 comprising of a serie of flower boxes and matching saucers.
3. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 2, wherein the top saucer has a drain toward the front of the saucer, the intermediate saucer has a drain toward the front of the saucer and the bottom saucer as a front, a side or a back drain that direct water away from the stair.
4. A serie of stair flower boxes as recited in claim 1, wherein the drain outlet is located under the box toward the front or the back of the box.
5. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 1, wherein the drain outlet is located on the side of the box toward the front or the back of the box.
6. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 2, wherein the drain outlet of the saucer is located under the saucer toward the front or the back of the saucer.
7. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 2, wherein the drain outlet of the saucer is located on the side of the saucer toward the front or the back of the saucer.
8. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 2, wherein the drain is a depression in the upper lip of the saucer. The depression is located in the front of the saucer, in the back of the saucer or on the side of the saucer.
9. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 1, wherein the Notch use to insert the flower box in each other is adjustable by adding or removing a section of the back side of the flower box.
10. A serie of stair flower box as recited in claim 1, wherein the drain of the lower flower box is connected to a flexible tube to direct water away from the stair.
