Abstract

The shower alarm summary/abstract of functions are the following:
There are number of transmitters/receivers that operate on short range within usually a distance to cover an average home, when a person enters a shower anywhere in the home he/she will activate a button that activates the transmitter upon activation of the transmitter all receivers in the home will have a light activated beside note: " DO NOT FLUSH TOILET, SHOWER IN USE or DO NOT USE WATERTAPS SHOWER
IN USE ! " This will prevent the water surges and scalding from hot water for anyone using the shower.
After the person is finished showering he/she will simply turn of the transmitter which will turn the alert lights out on all receivers placed around water taps and toilets.

Description

The descrpition and operating principle of the" shower alarm " for the patent application purposes.

This alarm is a short range radio transmitter / receiver that can be activated from any of the transmitter receiver units and send the signal to the other units to indicate that one of them is being activated Purpose of these units is to be able to send a signal between bathrooms in any home to allow other people in the home to see if someone is in the shower in any other bathroom Due to the plumbing in most homes for long time has been such as when someone is taking the shower and someone flushes the toilet in the other bathroom that will cause the drop in the cold water pressure causing the person having the shower to get burned//scalded .
It will operate in a very simple way when someone step in the shower the only thing the person has to do is to activate a small switch that will activate the transmitter and other units in the home will be showing " shower in use do not use cold water or flush toilet!! or have a flashing red light or diode to indicate the other shower in use That will prevent the person having the shower from ever being scalded and burned again.
I will be designing 2 different types of units: one with a battery operation with a low battery warning and also a unit with a plug in for the wall outlet as well they also have step up frequencies to prevent neighbors units to activate the ones that next door has.
I am applying patent initially in Canada but will be also applying the international patents as well.

Shower alarm (to be marketed under the name shower alert) Is a simple short range transmitter / receiver that can be activated anywhere within home, the purpose of the transmitter /receiver is to alert other occupants of the home not to use water taps or flush toilet causing a variations of water pressure and temperature fluctuation that causes scalding to the person using a shower.
2. The Transmitter/receiver functions the following way:
Each transmitter/receiver will have an activation button/switch which will turn the transmitter on and activates a light in all the other transmitter /receivers in the home placed beside the water taps and toilets with a note: DO NOT FLUSH TOILET, SHOWER IN USE ! or DO NOT USE WATERTAPS, SHOWER IN USE!.
