Abstract

The invention relates to a portable apparatus and system to disinfect closed areas, such as hospital rooms, locker rooms, emergency vehicles, etc.

Claims (9)

1. A portable apparatus to disinfect closed areas.
2. A portable apparatus as defined in claim 1, comprising an ozone generator, a fan, filter, compressor, two reservoirs, spray nozzle, grill, stainless steel enclosure, carrying handles, separating wall, wheels, air line, two liquid lines, and a solenoid valve.
3. An apparatus as defined in claim 1 or claim 2, in which the contaminated air is drawn into the stainless steel enclosure through the filter.
4. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, 2 or 3, in which the contaminated air is purified by the ozone generator.
5. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, 2 or 4, in which the separating wall does not allow the ozone generator to deteriorate the reservoirs, liquid therein, or the compressor.
6. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, 2, or 5, in which the compressor pumps air through the air line in order to disperse the liquids.
7. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, 2, 5 or 6, in which the liquid contained in the reservoirs is extracted by the suction caused by the spray nozzle, and disbursed into the air by the spray nozzle via the solenoid valve which is connected to the spray nozzle.
8. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, 2 or 4, in which the ozone generated is expelled through the grill.
9. An apparatus as defined in claim 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, in which, at the end of the cycle, the ozone and the odour of the bactericide, fungicide, etc. in the air is neutralized by the neutralizer which contains water and fragrance.
