Abstract
Une batterie rechargeable est présentée comportant une électrode positive d'étain, une électrode négative de zinc et un électrolyte alcalin. À la charge, une partie de l'étain est convertie en oxyde d'étain et l'oxyde de zinc est réduit en zinc. Lorsque la batterie est déchargée, l'oxyde de zinc est réduit en oxyde stanneux et le zinc est oxydé en oxyde de zinc.
