Abstract

Un dispositif de communication portatif comprend un premier système pour recevoir des signaux de satellites GPS et un deuxième système aux fins de la communication avec de multiples satellites dun système de communication à orbite basse. Le dispositif est conçu, au moment dune transmission nécessaire, pour surveiller lélévation et lazimut des satellites GPS en vue de générer un masque délévation indiquant où le ciel est ouvert à ce moment et damorcer une transmission nécessaire seulement si la prédiction de calcul indique quau moins un des satellites du système de satellites de communication à orbite basse est en vue.
