Abstract

L'invention concerne un détecteur (1) permettant de détecter un conducteur porteur de courant. Le détecteur comporte deux antennes (3, 5) espacées verticalement, qui permettent de détecter le rayonnement magnétique produit par un conducteur porteur de courant grâce à l'induction, dans ce conducteur, d'un signal d'alimentation du secteur et/ou d'un signal électromagnétique par un émetteur de signal spécialisé. Le détecteur (1) calcule en continu la profondeur à laquelle se situe le détecteur enfoui, et, si celui-ci se situe au-dessus d'une profondeur minimum prédéterminée, le détecteur (1) déclenche une alarme sonore et/ou visuelle. En réduisant la sensibilité des antennes (3, 5), on réduit la plage de décalage latéral dans laquelle l'alarme retentit, ce qui permet de déterminer l'emplacement du conducteur enfoui.
