Abstract
Un processeur et une méthode sont fournis pour décoder un fichier multimédia avec des flux de données audio et vidéo qui sont configurés pour être joués en synchronisation. Des trames de flux vidéo sont décodées et jouées avec laudio et, pour compenser la saturation dutilisation du processeur, deux procédures sont réalisées. La première procédure fonctionne à un premier intervalle périodique et ralentit le taux de trames pour réduire lutilisation du processeur sil y a lieu. La seconde procédure essaie premièrement daccélérer la vidéo pour rattraper laudio si elles ne sont pas synchronisées et si cela ne peut être fait lors du prochain intervalle de temps, le décodage dun nombre sélectionné de trames est sauté de sorte que les flux de données audio et vidéo sont synchronisés de nouveau.
