Abstract

Des paillettes opaques, comme des paillettes de pigment ou brillantes utilisées dans les peintures et les encres, présentent une forme choisie et/ou autres repères pour offrir un élément de sécurité dissimulé à un objet. Des paillettes dissimulées opaques formées ne sont pas facilement détectables par observation causale, mais, dans certains modes de réalisation, elles sont facilement vues à un grossissement de 50X. Dans la fabrication de paillettes, une feuille de cadres estampés est fournie avec des symboles estampés ou des repères à lintérieur. Lors du retrait dun revêtement de la feuille estampée, le matériau de recouvrement tend à se rompre le long des lignes ou des rainures des cadres et les paillettes résultantes sont sensiblement uniformes en dimensions. Pour que les paillettes se rompent le long des lignes ou des rainures des cadres plus facilement que le long des estampes ou des rainures qui définissent un repère à lintérieur du cadre, les cadres sont fournis avec une rainure plus profonde que les rainures du repère. De même, une rainure dun profil de forme différente favorable à un bris peut être utilisée pour les rainures des cadres alors quune rainure avec un profil moins favorable à un bris peut être utilisée pour former les rainures des repères. Nous avons trouvé que les paillettes peuvent en outre être protégées des bris en les enduisant dun revêtement protecteur. Ce revêtement peut présenter dautres caractéristiques, ce qui rend le logo plus visible.
