Abstract

An exercise bench platform, which has a rectangular deck having a plurality of spaced apart holes therein for permitting the free passage therethrough of an elastic cord or tubing or rope; and a semicircular rocker assembly affixed to a central bottom portion of said deck. Two removable rectangular support blocks allow the exercise bench platform to become a fixed platform.

Claims (10)

1. An exercise bench platform (10), comprising:

(a) a rectangular deck (27) having two parallel long edges, two parallel end edges, an upper surface, and an under surface; and, (b) two rockers (11) on the under surface of the deck, one rocker depending centrally from each long edge, whereby said deck is supported above a floor by said rockers.
2. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1 having at least one hole for receiving an elastic cord, or tubing, or rope.
3. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1 further comprising a pair of cross supports (20) on the under surface of said deck, wherein said cross-supports are perpendicular to said rockers (11), and wherein said cross-supports and said rockers form a box (31) for receiving a ball (26).
4. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1 further comprising a pair of support blocks (12) for supporting the ends of said deck (27), whereby the deck is maintained in a level, horizontal position by said blocks.
5. The exercise bench platform of Claim 4 wherein said support blocks (12) are removably attachable to the under surface of said deck (27).
6. The exercise bench platform of Claim 4 wherein the cross-sectional end-profile of said blocks is rectangular.
7. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1 further comprising elongated strips (21) of a high friction material on the upper surface of said deck (27).
8. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1 wherein said rockers (11) comprise ribs (22) extending laterally from the upper portions of said rockers toward the ends of said deck (27).
9. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1, wherein said rockers (11) are semi-circular plates (29).
10. The exercise bench platform of Claim 1, further comprising at least one cushion strip (32) made of pliable material and affixed to the under surface of an end of said deck (27).
