Abstract
A wastebasket includes an outer container, an inner container housed in the outer container, and a lid positioned on top of the outer container; the outer container has a bearing and receiving device for holding a toilet brush and a plunger in position; the bearing and receiving device includes a bearing plate projecting from an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger; the bearing and receiving device includes a hollow receiving portion on an outer side of the outer container, and a receiving barrel positioned under the hollow receiving portion for receiving a toilet brush as well as receiving foul water dripping from the toilet brush.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the invention The present invention relates to an improvement on a wastebasket structure, more particularly one, which consists of inner and outer containers, and which has a bearing and receiving device for holding cleaning tools such as a plunger and a toilet brush.
2_ Brief Description of the PriorArt Domestic wastebaskets usually consist of a containing main body, and a lid. And, domestic wastebaskets with inner and outer containing members are also available, which are usually used in bathrooms.
Furthermore, toilet brushes and plungers are usually placed next to wastebaskets in the bathrooms. Because toilet brushes and plungers aren't covered or positioned in any containers, stinking odor will escape #rom them if they aren't thoroughly cleaned after they are used. In addition, the toilet brushes and the plungers will occupy relatively much space in the bathrooms, which are usually relatively small, if they are positioned next to the wastebaskets. -Therefore, it is a main object of the present invention to provide an improvement on a wastebasket structure, which having bearing and receiving devices therein for containing a toilet brush and a plunger so as to save space and provide the users with convenience.
A wastebasket according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an outer container, an inner container housed in the outer container, and a lid positioned on top of the outer container. The outer container has a bearing and receiving device for holding a toilet brush and a plunger in position. The bearing and receiving device includes a bearing plate projecting from an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger, a hollow receiving portion on an outer side of the outer container, and a receiving barrel positioned under the hollow receiving portion for receiving a toilet brush as well as receiving foul water dripping from the toilet brush.
Therefore, the wastebasket can help people save space and maintain hygiene.
According to one aspect of the present invention there is provided an improvement on a wastebasket structure, comprising (a) an outer container, the outer container having a holding room therein; the outer container having a bearing and receiving device thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush;
the bearing and receiving device including: a bearing plate projecting from an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving the plunger, a hollow receiving portion provided on an outer side of the outer container; and a receiving barrel positioned under the hollow receiving portion for receiving a toilet brush; (b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having a gap corresponding to a handle portion of a toilet brush received in the receiving barrel.
According to another aspect of the invention there is provided an improvement on a wastebasket structure, comprising (a) an outer container, the outer container having a holding room therein; the outer container having a bearing and receiving device thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush;
the bearing and receiving device including: a first and a second hollow detaining portions on an outer side of the outer container; a bearing plate positioned under the first hollow detaining portion on an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger; and a receiving barrel fitted to an inner side of the second hollow detaining portion; (b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having two gaps corresponding to the first and the second hollow detaining portions respectively for receiving handle portions of a plunger and a toilet brush respectively.

DETAII.ED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to Fig. 1, a first preferred embodiment of a wastebasket (A) of the present invention includes an inner container 1, an outer container 2, and a lid 3. The outer container 2 has a holding room 21 therein, and the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21. The lid 3 is disposed on top of the outer container 2 for covering the outer container 2. The lid 3 has a gap 31 thereon.
The outer container 2 ferther has several propping ribs 22 therein for bearing the weight of the inner container 1 and wastes in the inner FROM (MON) APR 9 2007 9:49/ST. 9.48/N0, 6310677465 P 4 container 2, and a bearing and receiving device 4 thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush. The bearing and receiving device 4 includes:
a bearing plate 41 projecting from an inner side of a bottom of the outer container 2;
S a hollow receiving portion 42 formed under the gap 31 of the lid 3 on an outer side of the outer container 2; and a receiving barrel 43 disposed under the hollow receiving portion 42 for receiving a toilet brush 6, as shown in Fig. 2.
Referring to Fig. 3, a plunger 5 is received in the bearing plate 42 with a handle portion 51 thereof being held in the outer container 2, and the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2 and supported on the propping ribs 22. And, the toilet brush 6 is held in the receiving batre143 with a handle portion 61 being received in the hollow receiving portion 42 and the gap 31 of the lid 3 for allowing people to take and use the toilet brush 6 with ease, as shown in Fig. 4.
Referring to Fig. 5, the hollow receiving portion 42 has a gripping unit 44 thereon, which is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2. The above-mentioned plunger 5 is a short-handled one, and has single part. Referring to Fig. 5, the hollow receiving portion 42 has a gripping unit 44 thereon, which is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2. The gripping unit 44 is used for firmly holding a second separable handle part 51 of a long-handled two-sectioned plunger FROM (MON)APR 9 2007 9:49/ST. 9;4810.6310677 465 P 5 5 in position, which second separable handle part 51 has been separated from a first handle part secured on a main body of the plunger 5 for making the plunger easy to store. And, the main body of the long-handled plunger 5 is received in the bearing plate 41 on an inner 5 side of the bottom of the outer container 2.
Referring to Fig. 6, a second preferred embodiment of a wastebasket (A) of the pxesent invention includes an inner container 1, an outer container 2, and a lid 3. The outer container 2 has a holding room 21 therein, and the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21.
The lid 3 is disposed on top of the outer container 2 for covering the outer container 2. Ihe outer container 2 has a bearing and receiving device 4 thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brusb.
Refetring to Fig. 7, the bearing and receiving device 4 includes:
two hollow detaining portions 45 on an outer side of the outer container 2;
a bearing plate 46 positioned under a first one of the hollow detaining portions 45 on an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger 5; and a receiving barrel 47 fitted to an inner side of a second one of the hollow detaining portions 45 for receiving a toilet brush 6.
The lid 3 has two gaps 31 corresponding to the first and the second hollow detaining portions 45 respectively. After a plunger 5 and a toilet brush 6 are received in the bearing plate 46 and the receiving barrel FROM (MON)APR 9 2007 9:49/ST. 9:48/N0,6310677465 P 6 47 respectively, their handle portions 51 and 61 will be partly held in the gaps 31 of the lid 3 respectively.
Referring to Fig. 8, a sectional view of the second preferred embodiment, the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2, and a plunger 5 is received in the bearing plate 46 on the inner side of the bottom of the outer container 2, with a handle portion 51 thereof being partly held in the first hollow detaining portion 45 as well as one of the gaps 31 of the lid 3. Referring to Fig. 9, a toilet brush 6 is received in and supported by the receiving barrel 47, with a handle portion 61 thereof being partly held in the second hollow detaining portion 45 as well as the other one of the gaps 31 of the lid 3.
Thus, people are allowed to store, take and use the plunger 5 and the toilet brush 6 with ease, and foul water dripping from the plunger 5 and the toilet brush 6 won't flow out to hinder maintenance of hygiene.
Referring to Fig. 8 again, the receiving barrel 47 has hooked portions 471 on an outer side thereof, and the corresponding second hollow detaining portion 45 has holes 451 thereon; the hooked portions 471 are passed into the holes 451 to secure the receiving barre147 in the hollow detaining portion 451.
Referring to Fig. 10, the outer container 2 has connecting pieces 23 on an inner side thereof, and the bearing plate 46 has rail-shaped connecting protrusions 461, and is firmly fitted to the outer container 2 with the rail-shaped connecting protrusions 461 being joined to the FROM (MON)pPR 9 2007 9:49/ST. 9:48/N0,6310677465 P 7 ~
connecting pieces 23 of the outer container 2.
In addition, the lid 3 includes a pivotal cover part 32 right above the inner container 1; thus, waste can be easily put into the inner container 1. And, the inner container 1 has a handle part 11 for a user to carry the inner container 1 with ease, as shown in Figs. 1 and 6 The wastebasket can be made in such a way that the toilet brush and the plunger will be on a left side and a right side of the outer container respectively when stored. Or alternatively, the wastebasket can be made in such a way that the toilet brush and the plunger will be inside and on an outer side of the outer container respectively, as shown in the above figures.
Referring to Fig. 11, a third preferred embodiment of a wastebasket of the present invontion includes an inner container 1, an outer container 2, and a lid 3. The outer container 2 has a holding room 21 therein, and the inner container 1 is held in a holding room 21.
Referring to Fig. 12, a perslaective view of the third preferred embodiment, the outer container 2 has a hollow detaining portion 45, and a secondary hollow detaining portion 45' next to an outward side of the hollow detaining portion 45. A. receiving barrel 47 is detained in the hollow detaining portion 45 while a bearing plate 46 is positioned under the second hollow detaining portion 45' in the outer container 2 for receiving a plunger 5.
The lid 3 has a gap 31 corresponding to the hollow detaining FROM (MON)APR 9 2007 9:49/ST. 9;48/N0.6310677465 P 8 s portion 45 of the outer container 2_ A toilet brush 6 is received in the receiving barrel 47 with a handle portion thereof being partly held in the gap 31 of the lid 3.
From the above description, it can be seen that the present invention has the following advantages:
1. The outer container of the wastebasket of the present invention has the bearing plate therein for hiding a plunger so as to prevent bad odor from escaping from the plunger.
2. The outer container of the wastebasket of the present invention has the receiving barrel held in the hollow detaining portion for hiding a toilet brush so as to prevent foul water from dripping and flowing outside from the toilet brush.
3. The wastebasket of the, present invention allows a plunger and a toilet brush to be stored therein so as to occupy relatively little space in the toilet as well as allowing the plunger and the toilet brush to be easily taken and used.

According to another aspect of the invention there is provided an improvement on a wastebasket structure, comprising (a) an outer container, the outer container having a holding room therein; the outer container having a bearing and receiving device thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush;
the bearing and receiving device including: a first and a second hollow detaining portions on an outer side of the outer container; a bearing plate positioned under the first hollow detaining portion on an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger; and a receiving barrel fitted to an inner side of the second hollow detaining portion; (b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having two gaps corresponding to the first and the second hollow detaining portions respectively for receiving handle portions of a plunger and a toilet brush respectively.

DETAII.ED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to Fig. 1, a first preferred embodiment of a wastebasket (A) of the present invention includes an inner container 1, an outer container 2, and a lid 3. The outer container 2 has a holding room 21 therein, and the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21. The lid 3 is disposed on top of the outer container 2 for covering the outer container 2. The lid 3 has a gap 31 thereon.
The outer container 2 ferther has several propping ribs 22 therein for bearing the weight of the inner container 1 and wastes in the inner FROM (MON) APR 9 2007 9:49/ST. 9.48/N0, 6310677465 P 4 container 2, and a bearing and receiving device 4 thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush. The bearing and receiving device 4 includes:

Referring to Fig. 3, a plunger 5 is received in the bearing plate 42 with a handle portion 51 thereof being held in the outer container 2, and the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2 and supported on the propping ribs 22. And, the toilet brush 6 is held in the receiving batre143 with a handle portion 61 being received in the hollow receiving portion 42 and the gap 31 of the lid 3 for allowing people to take and use the toilet brush 6 with ease, as shown in Fig. 4.
Referring to Fig. 5, the hollow receiving portion 42 has a gripping unit 44 thereon, which is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2. The above-mentioned plunger 5 is a short-handled one, and has single part. Referring to Fig. 6, a second preferred embodiment of a wastebasket (A) of the pxesent invention includes an inner container 1, an outer container 2, and a lid 3. The outer container 2 has a holding room 21 therein, and the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21.

Refetring to Fig. 7, the bearing and receiving device 4 includes:

Referring to Fig. 8, a sectional view of the second preferred embodiment, the inner container 1 is held in the holding room 21 of the outer container 2, and a plunger 5 is received in the bearing plate 46 on the inner side of the bottom of the outer container 2, with a handle portion 51 thereof being partly held in the first hollow detaining portion 45 as well as one of the gaps 31 of the lid 3. Referring to Fig. 9, a toilet brush 6 is received in and supported by the receiving barrel 47, with a handle portion 61 thereof being partly held in the second hollow detaining portion 45 as well as the other one of the gaps 31 of the lid 3.
Thus, people are allowed to store, take and use the plunger 5 and the toilet brush 6 with ease, and foul water dripping from the plunger 5 and the toilet brush 6 won't flow out to hinder maintenance of hygiene.

Referring to Fig. 11, a third preferred embodiment of a wastebasket of the present invontion includes an inner container 1, an outer container 2, and a lid 3. The outer container 2 has a holding room 21 therein, and the inner container 1 is held in a holding room 21.
Referring to Fig. 12, a perslaective view of the third preferred embodiment, the outer container 2 has a hollow detaining portion 45, and a secondary hollow detaining portion 45' next to an outward side of the hollow detaining portion 45. A. receiving barrel 47 is detained in the hollow detaining portion 45 while a bearing plate 46 is positioned under the second hollow detaining portion 45' in the outer container 2 for receiving a plunger 5.

From the above description, it can be seen that the present invention has the following advantages:
1. The outer container of the wastebasket of the present invention has the bearing plate therein for hiding a plunger so as to prevent bad odor from escaping from the plunger.
2. The outer container of the wastebasket of the present invention has the receiving barrel held in the hollow detaining portion for hiding a toilet brush so as to prevent foul water from dripping and flowing outside from the toilet brush.
3. The wastebasket of the, present invention allows a plunger and a toilet brush to be stored therein so as to occupy relatively little space in the toilet as well as allowing the plunger and the toilet brush to be easily taken and used.
Claims (9)
1. An improvement on a wastebasket structure, comprising (a) an outer container, the outer container having a holding room therein;
the outer container having a bearing and receiving device thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush; the bearing and receiving device including:
a bearing plate projecting from an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving the plunger, a hollow receiving portion provided on an outer side of the outer container; and a receiving barrel positioned under the hollow receiving portion for receiving a toilet brush;
(b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having a gap corresponding to a handle portion of a toilet brush received in the receiving barrel.

a bearing plate projecting from an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving the plunger, a hollow receiving portion provided on an outer side of the outer container; and a receiving barrel positioned under the hollow receiving portion for receiving a toilet brush;
(b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having a gap corresponding to a handle portion of a toilet brush received in the receiving barrel.
2. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in claim 1, wherein the outer container has a plurality of propping ribs therein for bearing weights of the inner container.
3. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in claim 1 or 2, wherein the lid includes a pivotal cover part right above the inner container.
4. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the inner container includes a handle part.
5. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the hollow receiving portion has a gripping unit thereon for holding a handle part of a two-sectioned plunger in position.
6. An improvement on a wastebasket structure, comprising (a) an outer container, the outer container having a holding room therein;
the outer container having a bearing and receiving device thereon for receiving a plunger and a toilet brush; the bearing and receiving device including:
a first and a second hollow detaining portions on an outer side of the outer container;
a bearing plate positioned under the first hollow detaining portion on an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger; and a receiving barrel fitted to an inner side of the second hollow detaining portion;
(b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having two gaps corresponding to the first and the second hollow detaining portions respectively for receiving handle portions of a plunger and a toilet brush respectively.

a bearing plate positioned under the first hollow detaining portion on an inner side of a bottom of the outer container for receiving a plunger; and a receiving barrel fitted to an inner side of the second hollow detaining portion;
(b) an inner container held in the holding room of the outer container, and (c) a lid positioned on top of the outer container for covering the outer container, the lid having two gaps corresponding to the first and the second hollow detaining portions respectively for receiving handle portions of a plunger and a toilet brush respectively.
7. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in claim 6, wherein the lid includes a pivotal cover part on top of the inner container.
8. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in claim 6 or 7, wherein the receiving barrel has a plurality of hooked portions on an outer side thereof, and said second hollow detaining portion has a plurality of holes thereon; the hooked portions being fitted in the holes to secure the receiving barrel.
9. The improvement on a wastebasket structure as recited in any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the outer container has a plurality of connecting pieces on an inner side thereof, and the bearing plate has a plurality of rail-shaped connecting protrusions, and is secured to the outer container with the rail-shaped connecting protrusions being joined to the connecting pieces.
