Abstract

Appareil et méthode pour améliorer l'écoulement d'ammoniac anhydre liquide à partir d'un réservoir portatif de NH3 liquide à basse température qui comportent un compresseur d'air couplé à un orifice pour les vapeurs d'un réservoir portatif de NH3 liquide utilisé pour alimenter en ammoniac anhydre liquide un applicateur d'engrais à l'ammoniac anhydre. Le compresseur d'air injecte de l'air dans le réservoir afin de maintenir une pression de refoulement de 80 à 150 psi dans le réservoir afin de faciliter l'écoulement du NH3 liquide à partir du réservoir lorsque la température atmosphérique est basse et lorsque le niveau de NH3 liquide dans le réservoir baisse.
