Abstract

An aperatice used to keep a snowmachine afloat in the event of thin ice breakage while crossing frozen waterways. Fastened to the dash for easy access a pushbutton switch that engages a small Co2 or nitris oxide cartridge,which then through lines activating larger cylinders of Co2 or nitris oxide. This large amount of gas inflate air bags mounted to the sides of the machine causing the operator and machine to stay afloat untill safety arrives.

Description

SPECIFICATIONS
This invention relates to floatation devises desined for man also to raise heavy material from beneith the water,by use of compressed air.
It is common to have life preservers inflated by Co2, or airbags tied on to a heavy objects such as sunken ships ect.Inflating the bags bringing the object to surface.

I propose a device that when activated as soon as the snow machine breaks through the thin ice, the machine may remain afloat, possabiy saving lives, property damage, recovery costs and the enviroment.

SPECIFICATIONS CONT.
By pushing a button air is released from a small Co2 or nitris oxide canister into air line or hose to a rupture devise or valve which is attached to a larger Co2 or nitris canister allowing a greater amount of air to be released through hoses , the hoses are attached to air bags which are folded inside hard plasticcases fastned to the front and rear of the snowmachine, the plastic cases have a soft water proof seal that when the air bag inside starts to inflate the seal brakes open allowing full inflation of the air bags thus keeping the snowmachine afloat for easier recovery.

Claims

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property privlage is clamed are as follows;
A manually devise desined to keep a snow machine afloat in water comprising of an ingaging devise either push button or tether cord, Co2 or nitris oxide canisters, rubber or plastic hoses, one way valves, disc rupuring valves, plastic air bags and hard plastic casings with soft brakable seals.

A devise is defined in claim 1 in which a Co2 or nitris oxide canister is activated by a push button or tether cord causing air to be forced through hoses to a valve desined to rupture a disc from another Co2 or nitris oxide canister which relieses a larger amount of air through hoses into air bags which are attatached to the machine inside hard plasic cases on front and rear of the snow machine, inflaiting of air bags for total buoyancy of the snow machine.
