Abstract

Une méthode in situ de récupération en réservoir consistant en un puits dinjection horizontal et un puits de production horizontal pour extraire le bitume ou lhuile lourde provenant dun réservoir. Le procédé consiste en une première phase fonctionnant à haute pression dans laquelle de la vapeur, un solvant à base dhydrocarbures et des gaz non condensables sont injectés dans le réservoir, et une deuxième phase dans laquelle les liquides injectés passent à une haute teneur en solvant et gaz non condensable et une quantité réduite de vapeur pour maintenir une zone chaude aux alentours des puits dinjection et de production. Linjection de vapeur est suffisante pour favoriser le transport sous forme de vapeur du solvant dans lenceinte dappauvrissement de vapeur et maintenir le procédé à une température élevée dans le but de maintenir de faibles viscosités des fluides dans le puits de forage de production et dobtenir un comportement de phase préféré du solvant et de lhuile lourde ou du bitume. La pression de fonctionnement du procédé est régulée pour prévenir les pertes de solvant dans la formation et favoriser la production de solvant dans le puits de production aux fins dun recyclage ultérieur.
