Abstract
On décrit un capteur optique pour déterminer une distance entre une cible et une tête de capteur. Le capteur optique comprend une source lumineuse qui produit un spectre à large bande; un interféromètre de Michelson à fibre optique pour créer un interférogramme; et une unité d'analyseur pour recevoir l'interférogramme des données de l'interféromètre de Michelson à fibre optique et pour déterminer la distance de la cible en trouvant une position qui correspond à un maximum dans une transformation de Fourier de la distribution spectrale de l'interférogramme. L'interféromètre de Michelson à fibre optique comprend une fibre optique à capteur terminée par la tête du capteur et une fibre optique de référence, la fibre optique de référence ayant une longueur fixe de parcours optique.
