Abstract

La turbine hydraulique en question permet d'extraire des courants une quantité d'énergie faible (plusieurs watts) à grande (plusieurs mégawatts), sous forme d'énergie mécanique convertible en énergie électrique, et elle se compose de pales (1), de câbles (2), d'un arbre (3) et parfois de sections de flottaison dans les pales. La turbine hydraulique est conçue pour extraire de l'énergie renouvelable dans des conditions optimales de respect de l'écologie et de l'environnement, en créant son propre gradient de pression hydrostatique au travers des pales, pour l'extraction de l'énergie potentielle. La turbine hydraulique est une structure cylindrique qui est submergé à moins de 50 % dans le courant et qui est conçue pour exploiter l'énergie potentielle, rendue disponible par le gradient de pression hydrostatique induit à travers les pales, lesdites pales tournant de manière restrictive sensiblement plus lente que le courant pendant l'extraction de l'énergie du courant.
