Abstract

A blow molded plastic container (10) having a circular base (12), a cylindrical sidewall (14) extending upwardly from the base and a neck finish (16) projecting upwardly from the sidewall. The sidewall includes a plurality of spaced apart, continuous, circumferential grooves (24, 32) extending around the sidewall. The grooves are separated by raised areas (28).
