Abstract

The invention provides an improved method of injecting toilet bawl deodorizer chemical into the toilet bowl. You can use any of the current toilet deodorizer liquids available an the market to fill the fluid reservoir of the injection system which is placed in the water closet, the filler tube of the water closet is redirected through the apparatus then to the overflow pipe.
When the toilet is flushed the fill value provides the pressure required to inject liquid deodorizer for a toilet into the overflow pipe. The concentrated deodorizer gets injected directly into the toilet bowl through the overflow pipe found in the water closet, the liquid deodorizer never comes in contact with the water in the water closet. There is no mixing chamber required due to the hydraulic pressure acting an one side of a diaphragm to transfer a small amount of liquid deodorizer on the other side of the diaphragm, injecting the liquid deodorizer stored an the liquid deodorizer side of the diaphragm through a tube to the overflow pipe of the toilet water closet, located in this tube is a restricted nozzle which can be moved closer to the injection reservoir to add less chemical deodorizer or moved further away from the injection reservoir to add more chemical deodorizer to the overflow pipe. This restricted nozzle will add the chemical deodorizer slowly so that when the toilet is initially flushed you will not use your liquid deodorizer to the waste system and any excess chemical deodorizer will be returned to the chemical deodorizer reservoir. Most of the chemical deodorizer will remain in the toilet bowl saving you money, the corrision of parts of the water closet will be slowed since the liquid deodorizer is not being mixed with the water in the water closet.

This invervtion uses hydraulic pn~ssure to inject a liquid toilet bowl deodorizer, that is easy available to be purchased, into the to~et bowl through the use of the overflow pipe without muting with the water in the toilet's water closet The injection of the squid deodorizer is slowed down so that you w~l not lose the new liquid deodorizer to the waste system when flushing the toilet. It is common for a bottle of fluid or a tablet to be placed ~r the toilet's water Closet, however you w~l lose most of the deodorizer clown the sewer when the to~et is flushed leaving a small amount in the toilet bawl, also some of the chemicals used for this may cause premature corrision of parts that are located in the water closet. This injectian system is located in the water closet using a hanging bracket from tl~e waa of the water closet so that no chants are required to the water closet. The fib water tube from the ~pirrg valve is redirected to the water side of the injection system then returns to the overflow tube. A tube is directed from tl~ chemical deodorizer Side of the injection system to the overf~aw tube.
The ejection system ensures that expensive to~et odorizer chemicals are not lost during the initial flush, the injection system prravides control over the volume of toilet squid deodorizer being added to a toilet bowl. Ey using hydrauwc pressure this injection system is able to add liquid deodorizer to the toilet bowl without being mixed with the water in the toilet water closet or the fill water from the f~l valve. The restricted nozzle in the dispensing tube will add squid deodorizer slowly to the overflow pipe in the water closet this will stop deodoriz~rg chemical from being bst during the flush, this leads to less liqu~ deodorizer being required . Moving the restricted nozzle closer to the liquid deodorizer injector w~l add less toilet deodorizer chemical while moving the nozzle away from the injector w~l add more to~et deoc~rizer chemical.

The pressure from the water fir line t1), as seen in fig.2, causes the diaphragm t15) to stretch and push into the ocular liquid deodorizer chamber t14) creating the pressure needed for the deodorizer to be injected thr~pugh the injection tube t2) into the measuring tube t19) which is approxiametly ~4 oIo ~rger then the ir~ectar tube_ The squid deodorizer is then passed through a filter t21), located in the measuring tube tl9l, so that larger particles will be trapped before reaching the restricted nozzle t1$), these larger particles could cause a blockage of the restricted nozzle t1$) if they were net filtered out before reaching the restricted nozzle t1$). Due to the size ~ the restricted nozzle t1$), the liquid deodorizer is added slowly to tt~ overflow tube t5), in restricting the passage of the liquid deodorizer you do net lose new lie~rid deodorizer to the waste system. Once the squid deodorizer has filled the measuring tube t19) to the restricted nozzle t1$) any excess liquid deodorizer is returned to the liquid deodorizer reservoir t$) since the measuring tube t19) has a larger diameter then the ~rjection tube t2). If the restricted nozzle t1$) is moved away from the outlet of the injection tube t2) more liquid deodorizer will be added to the toilet boaNl t1Q) and less will be resumed to the liquid deodorizer reservoir t3). The measur~rg tube t191 enters the I~u~ deodorizer reservoir t3) through the outlet hole in the squid deodorizer reservoir t3) for the injection tube and ends appmxiametly 5 cm inside the liquid deodorizer reservoir (3) sealkrg the outlet ~ the wall of the I~uid deodori=er reservoir (~), this is used so that when the excess liquid deodori=er is returned to the ~quki deodorizer reservoir (3l the liquid deodorizer w~l not splash. When the excess deodorizer Wqu~ is returned in this way to the liquid deodorizer reservoir (3) it causes the fluid to be mixed so that any settled chemicals fmm the liquid deodor~er is mixed back into the deodorizer solution. When the fill valve (9) closes the diaphragm (15) returns to its normal unsrretched form causing a vacuum to be created in the liquid deodoriser chamber (141 which will avow the liquid deodorizer through the check valve (2Q). once the chamber is fua the check valve (2p) will close not alkawing any of the quid in the liquid deot~rizer chamfer (14) of the hydraulic injection system (121 to be returned to the liquid deodorizer reservoir (~). The next time the toilet is flushed the entire ~ocess as exp~ined above reoccurs. As seen in fig.2, the circular water chamber (l~) is attached to the squid deodorizer circular chamber (14) by screws placed tt~r~u~ the wall of the water chamber (1~) into the wall of the liquid deodoriser chamber (14), the diapl~agm (15) is placed between the two chambers, creating a liquid tight seal. Placing the two chambers together this way mows the c~aphragm to be replaced without having to replace the entire apparatus if a teak develops in the diaphragm (15). The apparatus as seen in f-rg.l, is located in the water closet by the use of two har~g~rg brackets (13) as seen ~

Claims (12)

1. Hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system for a toilet which is located within a water closet consisting of a refit valve which includes a refill tube going to an overflow tube, comprising;
walls forming a fluid reservoir for liquid toilet deodorizer;
walls forming a transfer mechanism, said mechanism divided into two chambers by a diaphragm;
an inlet and outlet for transfer mechanism in base of reservoir;
check valve located in inlet to a chamber to store said liquid deodorizer between flushes;
injection tube connected to said liquid deodorizer storage chamber outlet for passage of liquid deodorizer when pressure is applied by a diaphragm;
a water chamber divided from said liquid deodorizer storage chamber by a diaphragm;
means of connecting tube from refill valve to said water chamber at the inlet of said water chamber then from outlet of said water chamber a tube corrects to an overflow pipe;
measuring tube that has a larger diameter then said injection tube for transfer of liquid deodorizer to overflow tube, said measuring tube has a filter and restricted nozzle located within;
2. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 1 wherein an opening is provided to add liquid deodorizer to said squid deodorizer reservoir.
3. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 1 wherein the flow of water from the water closet fill valve flows through said water chamber creating pressure on said diaphragm, transferring pressure to said liquid deodorizer in said liquid deodorizer storage chamber, creating a means to move liquid deodorizer through said ejection tube connected to said liquid deodorizer storage chamber said measuring tube.
4. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 1 wherein when the fill valve of said water closet closes allows said diaphragm to return to original position creating a vacuum to fill said liquid deodorizer chamber of said transfer mechanism with liquid deodorizer from said liquid deodorizer reservoir through said inlet check valve.
5. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 1 wherein said measuring tube includes a movable filter and restricted nozzle to be moved closer or farther away from said injection tube for controlling the volume of liquid deodorizer to be added to the toilet bowl.
6. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 5 wherein a means is provided to return excess liquid deodorizer to said liquid deodorizer reservoir through said measuring tube that has a larger diameter then said injection tube.
7. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 6 wherein said measuring tube enters said liquid deodorizer reservoir providing a means of controlling splash back of returning excess liquid deodorizer.
8. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 6 wherein returning excess liquid deodorizer will provide a means of mixing liquid deodorizer solution in said liquid deodorizer reservoir to ensure settling of liquid deodorizer does not take place.
9. The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 3 wherein the diaphragm between the liquid deodorizer storage chamber and the water chamber come together to form one transfer mechanism.
10.The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 9 wherein there is a means of connecting the said liquid deodorizer storage chamber, said water chamber and said diaphragm together.
11.The hydraulic liquid deodorizer injection system of claim 10 wherein the diaphragm is replaceable by removing said connecting means.
12.The hydraulic liquid deodorizer ejection system of claim 1 wherein a means of supporting said liquid deodorizer is provided by two L-shaped brackets holding said reservoir tight to the water closet wall.
