Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de générer des paquets à identification unique dans un système de traitement réparti. L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faciliter le traitement sur un réseau, lequel procédé consiste à générer, depuis un emplacement de serveur sur le réseau, un pointeur qui définit un profil d'informations sur le réseau. Le pointeur est ensuite associé au profil d'information, puis le pointeur et le profil d'information associé sont transmis à au moins deux emplacements sur le réseau (302). Le pointeur peut ensuite être transmis à l'un de ces deux emplacements sur le réseau depuis un autre emplacement sur le même réseau pendant une opération de traitement sur le réseau (304), afin de traiter une transaction réseau depuis l'un des deux emplacements susmentionnés sur le réseau (306). Cette opération réseau sollicite le profil d'information associé; ainsi, seule la transmission du pointeur est nécessaire à l'opération de traitement (308).
