Abstract

A partition system includes a freestanding partition system having a pocket defining partition, a pocket door with an attached adjustable shelving and storage system slidably supported on the partition system for movement into and out of the pocket.
The entire partition system permits the door and adjustable shelving and storage system to operate and be moved as one unit, or separate components, without skewing or sagging, from a closed position to an open and retracted position adjacent a supporting wall, the system having hanging and telescoping slide assemblies mounted to the ceiling, floor and supporting wall, the door being attached and incorporated into a storage cabinet containing open and closed adjustable shelving and attached forming a single unit, the whole being attached by hinges and hangers to moveable members of the hanger and slide assemblies.
This allows the door and adjustable shelving and storage system to engage interior surfaces in the pocket -defining partition to accurately locate the door and adjustable shelving and storage system in the pocket to prevent damage, despite very low clearance.

ABSTRACT
A partition system includes a freestanding partition system having a pocket defining partition, a pocket door with an attached adjustable shelving and storage system slidably supported on the partition system for movement into and out of the pocket.
