Abstract
Un bogie de wagon, qui peut être un bogie Barber S2HD ou un autre type de bogie, comporte une traverse danseuse et une paire de châssis latéraux, la traverse danseuse étant fixée transversalement par rapport aux châssis latéraux. Les châssis latéraux sont fixés sur une paire d'ensemble de roues. La traverse peut être étirée de manière élastique et peut comporter des amortisseurs de friction. Les amortisseurs de friction ou les plaques d'usure de la colonne de châssis latéral peuvent comporter une plaque d'usure non métallique ou une surface d'usure remplaçable et qui peut avoir tendance à présenter un glissement non collant ou un comportement de glissement collant réduit à l'usage. Les adaptateurs de coussinet peuvent être fixés sur les coussinets des ensembles de roues et des éléments de plaquettes élastiques peuvent être installés sur les adaptateurs de coussinet. Les sièges de support peuvent reposer sur les plaquettes élastiques. Une discontinuité peut être remarquée dans le chemin de charge verticale entre le toit du support et le coussinet. La discontinuité dans le chemin de charge verticale peut tendre à pousser une portion de la charge verticale d'un côté ou de l'autre des rouleaux supérieurs des chemins de roulement de manière plus importante qu'en l'absence de la discontinuité du chemin de charge verticale.
