Abstract
A tool for driving nails, using air as a power source. Unlike common air nailers this tool uses loose or non attached nails. Each nail is fed individually by hand into the nailer. Also this nailer will use any nail with a head of less than 9/16" and any length above 1 1/4" giving this tool a wide range of application.

This tool relates to driving nails by ~tac~ing the tool to a srandaurd air hammer The concept is to nse theyd strg~ force. of. the air hmmmer to drive the nail. Thereby eliminating the need for a framing or manual hammer.
The striker face of this tool is held, in alignment with the nail head by means of a spring loaded retractable sleeve.

Claims (3)
1: A tool for using a standard air power hammer to drive nails with a retractable sleeve to keep tool and nail head in alignment.
2. A tool as defined in Claim 1 is which has positive alignment between striker face and the nail head.
3. The difference between this tool and all other attachments for air hammers is the retractable sleeve that keeps the striker face in alignment with the nail head:
