Abstract

L'invention concerne un bloc de mur de retenue de terre segmenté présentant une face avant, une face supérieure présentant une languette transversale d'une largeur donnée faisant saillie à partir de celle-ci, la languette se prolongeant à une première distance de la face avant, et une face inférieure présentant une rainure transversale pratiquée dans celle-ci, la rainure étant dimensionnée pour pouvoir recevoir la languette d'un autre bloc similaire placé en dessous et permettant ainsi d'empiler les blocs. La rainure se prolonge à une seconde distance par rapport à la face avant qui est plus petite que la première distance, et les première et seconde distances sont établies de sorte que la languette et la rainure 11 soient décalées l'une par rapport à l'autre sur une distance qui est plus petite que la largeur de la languette. De manière avantageuse, la languette est pourvue d'une rainure à fendre dont les dimensions et l'emplacement permettent de fendre ladite languette à l'aide d'un outil de fendage le long d'une ligne transversale dont l'emplacement permet à la partie restante de cette languette de loger dans la rainure d'encore un autre bloc similaire empilé sur le présent bloc, la face avant de cet encore autre bloc similaire se prolongeant dans le même plan vertical que la première face du présent bloc. Il est par conséquent possible d'empiler les blocs susmentionnés tels quels, le mur produit étant ensuite terrassé, ou bien d'empiler les blocs susmentionnés après avoir fendu leurs languettes, le mur produit étant alors vertical.
