Abstract

L'invention concerne des guides d'ondes constitués de verre poreux dopés à l'aide de certains matériaux sélectionnés possédant des propriétés optiques. Dans le contexte de l'invention, les matériaux sélectionnés sont des matériaux optiques présentant une activité optique ou un effet Faraday, tels qu'un matériau électro-optique, et plus spécifiquement un polymère. Des dispositifs fabriqués selon cette invention peuvent servir de modulateurs de phase.
