Description
Description Field of Invention The present invention relates to a cleaning processes, and more particularly to cleaning systems that involve the use of sponges, scourers and absorbent materials to facilitate this process.
Back rg odd of Invention Cleaning is an activity that often involves an array of paraphernalia in order to complete the task. Because of this, it can be a time consuming process. It would therefore be beneficial to have an 'all-in-one' cleaning system that would allow the user to clean, scour, and dry a variety of surfaces with one single apparatus. This invention would reduce the time required to assemble cleaning materials, as well as provide a reusable, economical, versatile, and environmentally sound cleaning solution.
Summary of the Invention In view of the above needs, the present invention substantially overcomes the foregoing limitations of the prior art by providing use of the full palm surface of the glove assembly for the purposes of cleaning (instead of only discrete sections). Furthermore, the present invention allows washing, scrubbing and drying of surfaces within a single cleaning system. Finally, the interior of the glove assembly comprises a perspiration-resistant material, the purpose of which is to increase the user's comfort during the cleaning process, as well as facilitate removal of the glove assembly.
The present invention is a cleaning system that is versatile and efficient.
The cleaning system includes a glove assembly comprising the following: sponge attachment, scouring attachment, and an absorbent material attachment. The glove assembly includes a water resistant glove shell, the entire palm surface of which is covered with hook and pile fastenings, one detachable sponge unit, one detachable scouring unit and an absorbent material unit. Each detachable unit is the same size and shape as the glove assembly so as to permit maximal use of the palm surface of the hand. The interior of the glove is made of a perspiration-resistant material.
Although this invention is primarily intended for cleaning, the units that can be attached on the glove are not limited to cleaning units. For example, one could use a detachable sandpaper unit for home improvements. This increases the utility of the invention by not limiting its use to just one area of the home.
