Abstract

A cleaning system that is adaptable and efficient. The cleaning system includes a glove assembly comprising the following: a sponge attachment, a scouring attachment, and an absorbent material attachment. The glove assembly includes a water resistant glove shell, the entire palm surface of which is covered with hook and pile fastenings, one detachable sponge unit, one detachable scouring unit and one absorbent material unit.
Each detachable unit is the same size and shape as the glove assembly so as to permit maximal use of the palm surface of the hand. The interior of the glove is made of perspiration-resistant material that ensure the glove retains its feel even after prolonged use.

Description

Description Field of Invention The present invention relates to a cleaning processes, and more particularly to cleaning systems that involve the use of sponges, scourers and absorbent materials to facilitate this process.
Back rg odd of Invention Cleaning is an activity that often involves an array of paraphernalia in order to complete the task. Because of this, it can be a time consuming process. It would therefore be beneficial to have an 'all-in-one' cleaning system that would allow the user to clean, scour, and dry a variety of surfaces with one single apparatus. This invention would reduce the time required to assemble cleaning materials, as well as provide a reusable, economical, versatile, and environmentally sound cleaning solution.
Summary of the Invention In view of the above needs, the present invention substantially overcomes the foregoing limitations of the prior art by providing use of the full palm surface of the glove assembly for the purposes of cleaning (instead of only discrete sections). Furthermore, the present invention allows washing, scrubbing and drying of surfaces within a single cleaning system. Finally, the interior of the glove assembly comprises a perspiration-resistant material, the purpose of which is to increase the user's comfort during the cleaning process, as well as facilitate removal of the glove assembly.
The present invention is a cleaning system that is versatile and efficient.
The cleaning system includes a glove assembly comprising the following: sponge attachment, scouring attachment, and an absorbent material attachment. The glove assembly includes a water resistant glove shell, the entire palm surface of which is covered with hook and pile fastenings, one detachable sponge unit, one detachable scouring unit and an absorbent material unit. Each detachable unit is the same size and shape as the glove assembly so as to permit maximal use of the palm surface of the hand. The interior of the glove is made of a perspiration-resistant material.
Although this invention is primarily intended for cleaning, the units that can be attached on the glove are not limited to cleaning units. For example, one could use a detachable sandpaper unit for home improvements. This increases the utility of the invention by not limiting its use to just one area of the home.
Brief Description of the Figures FIG. 1 a shows the glove shell.
FIG. 1 b shows the hook and pile fastenings of the glove assembly.
FIG. 1 c shows the interior of the glove shell.
FIG. 2a shows the functional side of the sponge attachment.
FIG. 2b shows the hook and pile fastenings of the sponge attachment FIG. 3a shows the fiznctional side of the scouring attachment.
FIG. 3b shows the hook and pile fastenings of the scouring attachment.
FIG. 4a shows the functional side of the absorbent material attachment.
FIG. 4b shows the hook and pile fastenings of the absorbent material attachment.
Detailed Description of the Invention FIG 1 a shows the glove shell. The glove shell is made out of a water resistant, flexible, and durable material to ensure maximal range of motion of the hand as well as provide protection to the user from wetness or other forms of dirt, grime or soiling.
The glove shell is in the shape the user's hand. It will be available in different sizes, as well as in different configurations for both right and left handed users. FIG lb shows the hook and pile fastenings of the glove assembly. It covers the entire palm surface of the glove shell, that is, the palm of the hand and the five fingers. It is this section that permits the fastening of the various detachable units. FIG 1 c shows the interior of the glove shell. It is made of a perspiration-resistant material that completely covers the interior of the glove. 'This material prevents adhesion of the glove shell to the user's hand and facilitates removal of the glove assembly.
FIG 2a shows the functional side of the detachable sponge unit. Its sponge material permits various activities, for example, cleaning, wiping, drying. A quick rinse and squeeze of the sponge attachment is the only maintenance the sponge would require. FIG
2b shows the hook and pile fastenings on of the detachable sponge attachment.
This side is attached to the complementary hook and pile fastenings of the glove assembly. The detachable sponge unit is the same size as the hook and pile palm surface of the glove assembly.
FIG 3a shows the functional side of the detachable scouring unit. Its rough material composition permits various activities, for example, scouring, scrubbing.
Rinsing and squeezing to dry of this scouring unit would be the only required maintenance.
FIG 3b shows the hook and pile fastenings of the detachable scouring unit. This is the side attached to the complementary hook and pile fastenings of the glove assembly.
The detachable scouring unit is the same size as the hook and pile palm surface of the glove assembly.
FIG 4a shows the functional side of the detachable absorbent material unit.
Its liquid absorbing material permits various activities, for example, drying, wiping, cleaning. A
quick rinse and drying of the absorbent material attachment is the only maintenance required for it. FIG 4b shows the hook and pile fastenings of the detachable absorbent material attachment. This side is attached to the complementary hook and pile fastenings of the glove assembly. The detachable absorbent material unit is the same size as the hook and pile palm surface of the glove assembly.
All three attachments shown in FIGS 2, 3 and 4 are interchangeable and reusable.
