Abstract

The Deodorizing Dust Mop Head Cover is designed for industrial floor type dust mops used to sweep hard surface floors. It is an open-ended bag like cover made from any plastic or cloth like material. It is made to fit over the dust mop head, with an inside mesh pocket sized to hold many standard, commercially available deodorizing pucks. This is to help keep the dust mop deodorized.
A locking system is built into the design to prevent the cover from being removed when the dust mop is stored. Many standard padlocks will fit the design.

Description

Description of Deodorizing Dust Mop Head Cover As shown in figure 1 and 2, sections 1 and 2 can be made out of plastic or any type of a cloth like material. Sections 1 and 2 are sown together at edges 3, 4, S, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Figure 2 sections 11, 14 and 15 are not sown to section 1 creating an opening for the dust mop head to enter the bag type cover.
Section 16 is an added mesh pocket sown to section 1 at 18 and 19. Section 20 is not sown creating a pocket on the inside of the cover which has a Velcro closure at section 17 enabling a deodorizing puck to stay secured inside the pocket. At sections 12 and 13 there are two reinforced brass grommets on each side that enable a lock to pass through hole section 12 and out through hole section 13. This secures the cover to the dust mop frame.

Claims (4)

1. I claim that the deodorizing dust mop head cover made from plastic or any cloth type material sown into a open ended bag type cover designed to keep the dust mop head covered, protected, deodorized and locked all in one product.
2. The deodorizing dust mop head cover according to claim 1 has an inside mesh pocket of no particular size that can hold many different kinds of commercially available deodorizers on the market, keeping the dust mop head deodorized.
3. The deodorizing dust mop head cover according to claim 1 is two pieces of plastic or any cloth type material sown together creating a bag type cover, when placed over the dust mop head will keep the dust mop head covered and protected.
4. The deodorizing dust mop head cover according to claim 1 has two reinforced brass grommets in each side of the dust mop cover, making it possible to lock with many commercially available padlocks, keeping the cover locked over the dust mop head.
