AIR PILLOW BEACH TOWEL
Description of invention:
The invention is a beach towel with a built in pillow.
The towel would be used anywhere a recreational beach towel can be used, such as at the beach of poolside. It provides comfort to the user while reclining and all the water absorption of a regular towel. Having the pillow and towel combined into one unit keeps the pillow in the correct position for use instead of falling or shifting as so happens when an independent pillow is used. The pillow is inflated to the desired firmness and deflated for easy transportation and storage. The pillow is inserted into a pocket at the top of the towel and is removable for laundering purposes.
Specifically, the beach towel with inflatable headrest is constructed from regular terry cloth material with a PVC inflatable pillow. The pillow chamber will be made at the top end of the towel, stitched on three sides while the forth side will be sealed with a Velcro closure, as shown in drawing 1. The pillow is inflated to the desired firmness with a blow-up valve and deflated after use.
