Abstract
The invention provides a useful solution to improper posture usually found in humans over 30 years of age. The rubber frame includes a plurality of leg keys designed to fit around the upper thigh. The tension control runs horizontal to the shoulder blades and is held from slipping by meshing tractor teeth and two stainless steel clips. The upper shoulders of the frame are widened to provide additional support and control. Each leg key is composed of an elongated rubber strap connected to a slightly stiffer rubber thigh loop. The upper end of the frame is flexible and allows the upper body to pivot independently.
When seen from a front upright standing position, the AbStrap can be seen around the inside of each shoulder and around the upper inside thigh and stomach.

Description
THE AbStrap ThEREFORE:
Provides the human spine Leith additional support, as well as building the abdominal and back mustles.
BACICGROUN~ OF THE INVENTION:
The AbStrap is a completely new, revolutionary device. The AbStrap addresses the condition of the human spine as well as helping to maintain and increase flexibility.
Originally designed' to aid posture control and enhance body awareness in the Yoga practice of Asanas or steady poses.
The Yoga practice of asanas are poses designed to promote a state of mental and physical well-being.
This my be defined as the condition that is experienced when af! the organs function efficiently under the intel-v ligent control of the mind'. ~sanas hare an extraordinary capacity to overhaulP reju~fenate and to bring the entire system into a state of balance, The Ab~trap hems to maintae'n and increase the flexibility of thse spine by holding the shou:f~ers slightly back. it bas been said that you are as young as your spine.
The AbStrap was designed by artistic designer Collon ~ro~un in March 2tlti3.
it has been completely tested and ~rorn 3-5 hours each day for the course of a 3 month period. t3uring this period, there was a noticable strengthening of the mid section, and rya adverse affecas.
~C!'NIIt~AR'~ 01: TIE (~JEIVTIOPf:
fibs AbStrap is a body avuareness device that cos~rects pour posture by gently pulling shoulders gently bath. ~3esigned primarily for the Yoga practice of Asanas or "steady - poses"
the AbStrap is made of rubber polymer material. fifth 2 leg loops ~~~ in length aid 1" i'n v~idt~, each loop joined to a rubber strip 4fl"
long that widens around the shoulders. i3ehind the shoulder blades is the simple tension control that regulates the entire tension. The A.bStrap will also come in a number of different tertsioos. The ~bStrap will help to maintain acrd increase flexibility of the spine by providing constant tension on the abdominal and bacf~ ~nuscl'es.
DETAiLE~ DESCRIPTION OF THE INDENTION:
The embodiment of the invention illustrated Figure 1 & Z - the rnain frame 1 comprises of tuo leg keys each comprising a lower section 2 and an upper section 3, the two sections being tension controlled by connection 4. The leg keys 2 and 3 are made of a stronger poEymerie material with a slightly harder surface.
Pivot connections 5 and 6 are reinforced and held to the main frame 1 by lightweight adjustable clip screws.
The upper and lower leg sections are identical and as seen in FIG. 1 & 2 traverse the spine in a cross section which has been shown in the form of an elongated rectangPe fit over the from of the human body.
Inwardly projecting flaps wrap around the shoulders and connect below the shouides 7. Inwardly projecting tractor teeth ffG.6, 8 provide the necessary resistance and are held in place by two stainless steel clips 9 and 10. These clips are removable, allaying for easy increased or decreased tension control.
Throughout its length, each leg ~key° section is re-enforced with a strong polymer.
Figure 3 members 11 and 12 are identical and are cut from looped lengths. Each member has a though bore 13 that accommodates an adjustable clip screw. This screw opens at one end allowing easy access to the fitting of the device.
It will be apparent that various changes and modifications can be made without departing Pram the scope of the invention. Thus extra thickness I~ and 16 can be replaced by additional shoulder bands. And the tension contra( can be replaced by a slightly different tightening device.
