Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'optimisation du taux d'oxydation au moyen d'une combinaison d'halogène, p. ex. des donneurs de chlore, et de peroxygène, p. ex. du monopersulfate de potassium. Le composé peroxygène élève le potentiel d'oxydoréduction de la masse d'eau traitée. Simultanément, un donneur d'halogène est ajouté à la masse d'eau pour maintenir un niveau ppm d'halogène libre suffisant pour assurer le nettoyage. La quantité d'halogène libre est réduite et la plage efficace de potentiel d'oxydoréduction augmentée à 700 mV-850 mV par addition d'une quantité efficace d'un agent de coagulation. Les taux d'alimentation et les concentrations des deux oxydants sont optimisés, de façon à obtenir et maintenir les paramètres fixés. Un niveau important d'oxydation est maintenue, éliminant les produits dérivés de l'eau et de l'air environnant.
