Abstract

Chapeau comprenant une bande élastique sur le bord de la calotte pour maintenir un chapeau sur la tête. L'élasticité longitudinale de la bande n'est pas uniforme sur toute sa largeur. En fait, l'élasticité est supérieure dans la région qui est proche du bord de la bande par rapport à une seconde région proche de l'autre bord de la bande. Cette bande est confortable pour celui qui porte le chapeau parce qu'elle serre la tête moins fortement dans la seconde région que dans la première. En même temps, toute la largeur de la bande contribue à maintenir le chapeau sur la tête. Cette bande peut également être utilisée pour maintenir d'autres vêtements en place sur leur porteur.
