Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fusion ost~og~nique intersomatique qui comprend des parties oppos~es et un ~l~ment central solidaire. Les parties oppos~es sont dimensionn~es pour garder la hauteur d'un espace intersomatique vert~bral. L'~l~ment central pr~sente un diam­tre bien inf~rieur de fa×on que le dispositif de fusion ost~og~nique forme une poche annulaire autour dudit ~l~ment. Une mati­re ost~og~nique est plac~e dans cette poche entre les parties oppos~es. Dans un mode de r~alisation, la mati­re ost~og~nique constitue une feuille de collag­ne tremp~e dans une solution contenant une prot~ine morphog~n~tique osseuse. Le dispositif de fusion ost~og~nique est con×u de fa×on que la mati­re ost~og~nique soit en contact direct avec l'os vert~bral adjacent. En plus de la surface de contact plus importante entre l'os vert~bral et la mati­re de fusion, le pr~sent dispositif r~duit la d~viation des contraintes (stress shielding) ainsi que la radiopacit~ de l'implant de mani­re que la croissance de la masse de fusion puisse Útre ~valu~e de fa×on continue. Dans un autre mode de r~alisation, le dispositif de fusion ost~og~nique comprend au moins une partie terminale ~ surface tronqu~e. Les dispositifs de fusion ost~og~niques peuvent Útre associ~s ~ d'autres dispositifs de fusion pour former un syst­me d'implant. Ce dernier comprend au moins un ~l~ment de support de charge ~ surface tronqu~e con×u pour se loger dans un autre ~l~ment de support de charge, de pr~f~rence le dispositif de fusion ost~og~nique ~ support de charge de la pr~sente invention. L'invention concerne ~galement des syst­mes d'implant comprenant des ~l~ments de support de charge adjacents reli~s les uns aux autres pour r~sister ~ une s~paration lat~rale, ainsi que des proc~d~s de promotion de la croissance de l'os de fusion dans l'espace intersomatique de deux vert­bres adjacentes, au moyen des dispositifs et des syst­mes pr~cit~s.
